21-year-old singer Rihanna has been single after splitting from on/off lover Chris Brown following his assault on her in February. In an interview with Germany's Bravo magazine, she has apparently revealed she is interested in romance - but doesn't want to commit to anyone too quickly.
"Right now I don't want to have a serious relationship, I want to have fun," she is quoted as saying. "I love flirting at the moment. I'm single and I'm enjoying my freedom."
The Bardados-born singer added she is comfortable with her body, but does have days where she doesn't feel her best. When she feels unsure of herself, she has a secret weapon which always boosts her confidence.
She revealed: "Everyone knows that, especially we girls, have bad days. Some days I just feel fat and bloated. Those are my ugly days. I shouldn't tell you that, but in those days, I wear something that hides my stomach, under my outfit. I feel more comfortable with it."
Rihanna recently gave an interview on US TV where she spoke about the night Chris assaulted her, and said she was embarrassed to have taken him back.
Chris was sentenced to five years probation, six months community labour, 52 weeks of domestic violence counselling and was banned from contacting Rihanna for five years.
The 20-year-old appeared in court yesterday to discuss his progress with the judge. He reported he has completed seven out of his 52 classes, and 100 hours of community service. The judge was happy with his progress. He will appear in court again on February 18.
