Ashlee Simpson seeks designer career

Ashlee Simpson wants to be a fashion designer.

The singer-and-actress is planning to start her own clothing line because she thinks women would love to wear items designed by her. The new range will be “preppy and punk rock” and the 25-year-old star is convinced it will be a huge success.

A source told America’s Star magazine: “Ashlee wants to start a clothing line. She wants it to be both preppy and punk rock. She thinks she can really succeed in fashion.”

Ashlee is reportedly planning to discuss her career change with older sister Jessica, who has made millions out of her range of clothing, shoes and accessories.

Meanwhile, Ashlee has been seen showing off a new hairdo in Los Angeles. The star has swapped her short red locks for a long, glossy black style.
