Peter Andre has said his step-son Harvey is "much better".
The seven-year-old was rushed to hospital with suspected swine flu after experiencing breathing difficulties on Wednesday. Peter has refused to comment on the nature of his illness, but revealed Harvey has now returned home to his mother Katie Price.
Pete said during an interview on British TV show GMTV this morning: "He is OK. He is much better. We were at the hospital the night before last and then yesterday he went home quite early. He is better."
After being quizzed on the swine flu rumours, Pete said: "No one knows anything about that for sure yet. I shouldn't really go into that too much. He is fine and happy now."
Peter says he and his ex-wife Katie put their differences aside when Harvey was in hospital and the 36-year-old singer is prepared to call a truce for the sake of their kids - Harvey, four-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess Tiaamii, two.
"For your children you stay amicable. No problem. When it comes to your children they are number one. The kids are fantastic," he added.
Peter also spoke about his new single Unconditional, a ballad he wrote about his bond with Harvey. "This is a very special song, it is a thank you to Harvey," he explained. "He is my step-son and he taught me how to be a father before I became a biological dad."
