Leighton Meester is paranoid about her facial hair.
The brunette beauty plays glamorous New York socialite Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl and was determined to embody her character by looking perfect in every way.
She said: "I was like, 'Be honest with me. Do I need a wax? Do I?' Everyone was like, 'No, you're fine.' "I can go through rehearsal and know my lines and have my hair and make-up done, but as soon as I put the clothes on, that's when I become Blair."
The petite 23-year-old actress also revealed she stays in shape by walking in high heels. Leighton claims she shuns the gym and maintains her enviably slim legs by donning a pair of towering shoes and wearing them all day.
She told Glamour magazine: "My figure is probably down to walking in high heels. I'm not kidding!"
